Getting to Grips With the Shower, 11 July

First ‘proper’ day of holiday, and time to start properly on the first major project of this visit; our new shower. Despite a few challenges, made really good progress (and only had to have the water off for around 10 minutes). Didn’t get the job finished, but very happy with the progress – every chance we’ll be showering tomorrow night – fingers crossed. Talking of fingers, added another slice into my right forefinger, and even managed to nail the middle finger of my left hand with the nail gun. It’s been a long time since I’ve worn so many plasters.

The shower makes good progress
