Boring Alert! (Sally) - July 2nd

As usual I got up, did my ablutions. Had breakfast, then headed out on my bike to SuperU.

On the way back there was another cyclist coming from the other direction. A large camper van, with trailer, gave him a very wide birth, I had to move almost into the grass verge! Obviously didn’t want to hit him.

My usual boulangerie closes on Tuesday, so on the way back I did a slight detour to find that one was closed too. Instead of going straight home I went to the shop at the top of our road. They only had a couple of loaves left. Theirs tends to be a bit heavy.

Boring alert - did some washing and hung it outside to dry.

Lunch was bread and cheese. As I suspected the breads crust was incredibly hard. Luckily I have all my own teeth.

I prepared dinner for later. Stuck everything in the slow cooker.

Cleaned the bathroom tiles and painted them with tile paint.

Seemed to waste a lot of time today.

Did some more prep for Serena’s room. Looks quite nice.

Had a shower before having dinner.

Don’t need to cook courgettes for as long as I did. O.K. though.

After speaking to Andy I went a walk around the village.

On the way back I spotted a bat. Andy often mentions the bats. Likewise, he mentions the swallows.

After our good nights another day has done.
